CHILDCARE CENTRE FOR 74 CHILDREN

Built on time and below budget, the Mirrabrook Early Child Care caters for 74 children in a five unit setting. The centre is beautifully equipped with spacious indoor and outdoor environments with an emphasis on natural materials. The physical environment is welcoming, stimulating, provoking and aesthetically beautifully.

Mirrabrook is another one of our many completed projects within the education sector. Won on a competitive lump sum tender basis, the $2 million facility was completed within 9 months. Although a smaller project than what we usually carry out, it once again proves our versatility to deliver within all sectors and ranges of the building industry.

The design of this building follows the philosophy of Reggio Emilia, where the built environment is considered to be the third teacher. The facility will challenge and interest its occupants, whilst inviting children to explore and become fully involved in an activity. This building design also encourages adults to interact with children and to support their activities as needed.

Mirrabrook’s is a centre of excellence for children from 6 weeks to 5 years of age.
