San Antonio Nursing Home Refurbishment.

Novati Constructions was engaged to refurbish and renovate the San Antonio Nursing Home facility in Ryde.

Works included the:
1) renovation of 33 bedrooms and ensuites, circulation corridors and the lounge / dining room;
2) construction of 2 new bedrooms and ensuites;
3) light refurbishment of L1 & L2 low care residential wing;
4) refurbishment of the facility’s common and dining areas;
5) upgrade of existing services – nurse call, electrical and mechanical; and
6) external shade sail structure to the village’s courtyard.

A key challenge on this Project was operating within a live environment with an occupancy rate of 90% to 95%, whilst maintaining a fully undisturbed day and night facility operation. To address this challenge, works were separated into 29 stages to allow it to be carefully and safely carried out with minimal impact to San Antonio’s residence and staff.

As a result of Novati’s extensive experience, effective client and stakeholder communication and an unwavering commitment to maintaining and prioritising safety, Novati was able to successfully deliver this transformative work ahead of programme.
