This proposal was to upgrade the Preparatory School at North Sydney. The school was established in 1926 utilizing Upton Grange and Junior House. In 1959 a new classroom block was built and an Arts and Crafts Cottage, these buildings have formed the educational facility, which have remained largely unchanged since 1959.
In the upgrade of the School it intended to retain ‘Upton Grange’ and ‘Junior House’ and demolish the 1959 classroom block and the Arts and Craft Cottage. The new development would have to reflect the two story terraces one of which is hertiage listed. The new upgrade includes a library, Computer Room, Remedial Teaching, multi- activity area, Music, Visual Arts, and Science Room
